Hi, I’m Andrew!

Welcome to my kitchen! I’m so happy you are here. I am a professional baker and self taught photographer from Colorado. Starting this blog has been a fun side project combing my love for baking with my love of photography.

currently I am the lead baker for a popular gluten free dedicated bakery here in Denver Colorado. I fell into this career on accident when I came into the bakery one day to help out a friend. After being in the kitchen for one day I just couldn’t leave and have been there ever since.

While at the bakery I’ve learned so much and have created some killer recipes that have become best sellers. From sourdough and keto treats to flaky croissants and tarts, nothing is off limits here at Rabbio’s Kitchen!

My Mission

Being someone who isn’t actually gluten intolerant, I have really high standards for my treats. If it doesn’t taste like the real thing (or better) then I go back to the drawing board. So many gluten free foods are really lacking in the flavor department and I aim to change that. My mission is to prove that you don’t have to settle for less than perfection when you’re baking gluten free.

Working at the bakery really opened my eyes to the number of people that have some serious food allergies. In the gluten free community It is VERY common for people to have other allergies alongside their wheat allergy. Some of the most common are dairy, soy, corn, and eggs. This demand for allergen friendly foods taught me to get creative and create recipes that avoid the most common allergens.

If you are someone with food allergies you should feel safe in Rabbio’s kitchen. I’ve seen it all and I’m confident I can help you create great tasing recipes regardless of your dietary restrictions. You can always reach out to me with questions or recipe requests if you have specific restrictions I don’t cover in my recipes. Have an old family recipe that you can no longer eat? No problem, just reach out to me and we will collaborate to make it meet your dietary needs.

My Vision

Whether you’re celiac, vegan, keto, paleo, dairy free, or whatever lifestyle you subscribe to, you should feel confident in your ability to create delicious allergy friendly snacks and treats. In my eyes if I inspire just one person to get in the kitchen and bake delicious gluten free treats then I’ve done my job. I want to share with the world my knowledge and give you the confidence to make something you are proud of.
